Muhammadiyah to Improve Education and Health Services

Muhammadiyah should always build better hospitals for all people.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAGETAN -- Coordinating Minister for Human and Cultural Development (PMK Minister) Muhadjir Effendy asked all the management of Muhammadiyah and 'Aisyiyah to continuously improve collaboration and synergies with various parties to jointly create positive innovations. It was to strengthen social service, and to answer the various challenges of the times wisely and competently.

“Muhammadiyah has always cooperated with the government, complementing and perfecting government programs that serve the people, serve the people,” Muhadjir said during his remarks at the 111th Milad agenda of Muhammadiyah and the Inauguration of Muhammadiyah Branch Leaders and Aisyiyah Branch Leaders of Magetan Regency at Ki Mageti Sports Arena in Magetan, East Java, Sunday (10/12/2023).

According to Muhadjir, Muhammadiyah has made its positive contribution to development on health and education aspects in various regions. He said that both aspects must be constantly improved in order to build superior human resources.

“Hospitals are important, education is also important, schools and hospitals in Muhammadiyah must always be improved, must always be built better for all people. It is because development will be futile if it is not supported by good human development,” Muhadjir said.

The chairman of the Muhammadiyah PP also explained that at present, the government is seriously preparing the golden generation for 2045. Human resource development is carried out from the very beginning through the most upstream sector, which is to equip future mothers to understand good nutritional intake in order to avoid stunting problems. “If it can be achieved, God willing, our future generations will be healthier, stronger and more virtuous,” Muhadjir said.

Also present on the agenda were Acting Regent Magetan Hergunadi, Deputy General Chairman of PWM East Java Sasmito Djati, Chairman of the Parliament of Magetan Sujatno Regency, as well as the entire Forkopimda of Magetan Regency, community leaders and scholars.
